Can't beat Sonny's for taste. So delicious everytime. The people are very friendly too.

Food:excellent,even by Sonny's high standards. Service:fast,friendly and got everything right the 1st time. Clean. Easy access to I-95...on and off. Overall....4.85 stars. Round off to 5. Nice,comfortable place!

Absolutely loved the food here! I ordered the sampler and got more than enough food. The wait staff were very pleasant and attentive. The prices are very reasonable. I definitely would recommend trying this place if you are looking for some good fall off of the bone bbq.

Food was delicious. We were trying unsuccessfully to phone in an order & after arriving saw that was because it never stopped ringing with other phone in orders. The dining area did have many tables blocked off to enforce social distancing.

Ask for Earl he's more famous than Sonny himself!

My family and I went there today, we drove from Statesboro Ga. to Brunswick to eat at Sonny’s and it was Fantastic . The food and the waitress and all the workers were great. Signed Danny Hart

Redneck egg rolls were amazing! Waitress Diangela was very bubbly and attentive. Good price for the amount of food you get. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

The food is just not good, no decent BBQ joint microwaves their macaroni. The sandwich was very dry, don't know if it's intentional that you have to put the BBQ sauce yourself because of how flavorless the meal comes. Our waitress was amazing and the food came really fast, but I unfortunately won't be coming back here for BBQ.

Food was great, but waitress was not paying attention and didn't give us our drinks and we payed for 3 teas! We we're too tired to go back when we realized it and ate thirsty!

Decent bbq, good salad bar. Not the best barbecue I've ever had but it's good, they have nice sauces. Just pretty darn greasy, but some folks would say that's just good barbecue! Good sweet potato muffins!!

My very small portion of brisket seemed like it was reheated from last nights dinner. It tasted okay but not great. The coleslaw is good. The mac and cheese is fantastic! Overall it was good but hardly seemed worth the $14 lunch combo.

Always good food. Even take out. Personnel was very helpful. Made sure that I had all sauces and utensils.

This was a surprise treat for a BBQ purist such as myself. The sampler plate was actually very tasty and the service and quality of the food was very good. I look forward to returning.

Very good service! The waitress was kind and attentive. The initial wait was kind of long but that was to be expected on a Sunday after church. Food was a welcome change compared to the train wreck I had the day before at another rib spot. Definitely coming back again!

Great food every single time I have been there. Service is good as well!! My favorite place to eat. I love the flavor of their meet. I wish they would open one in Savannah!! It's just about a hour for me to drive but I don't mind!! ❤️❤️

Good service. Brisket was all fat but they brought out a new plate and it was great.

It was great the only problem for what you pay for a 9 dollar banana split it's not worth it asked for hot fudge on it very little was put on 3 small scoops and a small bowl

The brisket sandwich was amazing, best I've ever gotten from Sonny's... our waitress was the best forgot to get her name young girl blonde hair best service from any restaurant in a long long time... will definitely be back

As always very awesome staff. We travel every Father's Day about an hour to eat there.

Wait staff was super. BBQ and salad bar was so good. Area was convenient right off of the interstate. Area seemed decently safe for an interstate area. We were comfortable and well fed.

We have been eating at this sonnys for over 20 years. We drive to and from Florida all the time. The people know us and they treat us like family. The staff and food is amazing. We appreciate their hospitality. Please stop in when your are near them. Enjoy.

I love Sonnys! All the servers are friendly! The food is so good! They give you a lot of food and the prices are decent! Clean atmosphere and restrooms. Needs more of a selection of bigger salad bar.

Just left Sonny's. Great BBQ and excellent curb side assistance by Jessica Geiger (great smile 😁). She was very nice and respectful. I highly recommend Sonnys and wish the management great success when this virus is behind us.

The combo platter was just spectacular! Each of the four meats was perfect, so flavorful that no sauces were needed. All the sides - also excellent. But best in the night's experience was the bright and bouncing waitress.

This is my favorite BBQ place to eat. Everytime I drive down south, I stop there. Great service and great food.

This is our second time visiting as we drive through. The barbecue is very good and the service is great.

My grandson and I enjoyed our meal here very much. Devin was a fantastic server, very knowledgeable about the menu and extremely helpful. Would come here again and ask for Devin!!

Sooo Good.Service Could Have Been Better..

This is a standard BBQ place. Nothing particularly good or bad about the food. The water here is disgusting as it must be something with the local water lines. Avoid tap water or bring your own bottled water if you don't do sodas. The restaurant was not dirty per se but also not very clean. Sticky tables and less than up to par restrooms.

Delicious meal and sweet tea. The slab of ribs was big enough to share and the sweet potato was a real treat. Excellent service! We love the salad bar, too!

Loved it. Closes to the original Sunny's you can get. All the staff was super nice and the food was fresh

I love Sonny's. This location always has really good food. The only reason it 4 stores is because my ribs weren't seasoned at all. The baked beans are great, the cornbread is always good. Just an all around good experience.

Never had a bad experience at Sonny's! The take out girls were Fabulous.

The waiter was great, cant remembered name. ! Food very good! So nice to see it was spotless and staff have masks. This was our 1st restaurant since the beginning of Covid. We just left.

We were traveling down I 95 and took a shot at exit 36b.What a nice surprise. First indication that it was good - the parking lot was filled with locals. We ordered two sandwiches to go - pulled pork and sliced pork. They give you a choice of sauces to take with you. One of the best bbq either of us ever had. Melts in your mouth. The sauces were great too. I had the sweet and the hot/sweet.Great friendly staff. Highly recommend.

They were doing a radio show in the back corner so I got to enter contest and free stuff.. Food was excellent as always and service was great.. Their salad bar is my favorite,, they have a huge salad bar,, always fresh.. Great experience every time..

I am not a big fan of Sonny's BBQ but we were on our way home and needed to get something to eat. The store was clean and the staff was friendly and fast. I ordered the Carolina pulled pork sandwich on Texas toast. It arrived after a very short wait and was warm and tasted great. The pork was very tender. I would eat here again.
